Celebration

Today we celebrated a wonderful year of reading together in the Hooked on Books Book Club. Readers from all three sessions shared the projects they created and some cake and ice cream with their parents. It was a nice way to end the year.

A Perfect Reading Day

We could not have asked for a more delightful day on Tuesday to launch session three of Hooked on Books!
After completing a short online questionnaire, students headed outside to the library patio for cookies, ice cream, and their new book. We spent the afternoon reading and discussing, Sideways Stories and Half Magic. What fun!

Projects unveiled

The Hooked on Books readers have had a busy session, focusing on a number of book projects.
They each created trading cards of their favorite characters to share. Then they chose a project to dive into. They have worked very hard to bring their books to life.
We have been sharing them for the past couple of weeks--what a fun time!
