Our first meeting of the Hooked on Books book club was a blast! We are thrilled to have so many readers join us. After book talking the books, students made their selections. There is something for everyone on the list, including current and past MCBA nominees.
We enjoyed popcorn, fruit and dip and mystery cookies (potato chip!) After our snack, a quick game of Eye Spy revealed our sleuths to have superior attention to detail and recall. As a group, they were able to remember all twenty items on the tray!
Readers received their Book Detective booklets and punch card book marks. Hopefully the books arrive before our next meeting!
